The Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth is a state agency that develops and advocates for equitable policies, services, and resources to ensure all LGBTQ youth can thrive. Primarily funded through state appropriation, as an independent agency we are permitted to fundraise.
Our annual fundraising gala will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Royal Sonesta hotel in Cambridge from 6-11pm, and this year’s theme is Harlem Renaissance. In keeping with that theme, we are seeking a performing group of jazz musicians, including a vocalist, and particularly encourage Black and African American performers to reach out. The ability to perform a mix of classics and originals would be a plus. Please reach out with a few samples (links are fine) and your fee (please specify if it is hourly, per performer, or any other adjustments). Thank you!
