Hidden Treasure: 20th Century Clarinet Music | Graduating Student Recital | Lorenzo Macuja, clarinet

Thursday • May 12, 2022   |   7:30 pm

Free – $20.00

Though when one thinks of the clarinet, they think of composers such as Mozart and Brahms, there is a lot of variety to be found beyond just the standards. Many interesting pieces have been written that showcase the versatility of the instrument, and explore different colors and styles. All within the context of tonal music. This program aims to present a variety of music from the 20th century, some of which is seldom played. Discover some hidden gems in the modern clarinet repertoire tonight.
