There’s always something happening at Longy. And you’re invited.

Whether you’re here for classical favorites, genre-bending experiments, or intimate behind-the-scenes moments, we’re your ticket to music that’s alive, unpredictable, and unforgettable.

With over 200 concerts and events each year, Longy is where artistry meets curiosity. From bold premieres to boundary-pushing collaborations, our stages are alive with the voices and visions of world-class faculty, guest artists, and emerging student talent.

This season explores music as a portal into new ways of seeing, listening, and being in the world. It invites us into experiences that expand perception and reveal the extraordinary hiding inside the familiar.

Come curious, leave changed, and carry the music with you into the world.

MAIN STAGE

Main Stage concerts are where the magic happens. These are the events that bring our community together to share in unforgettable performances and bold artistic ideas. You will hear music that can move you, challenge you, and stay with you long after the last note. We also partner with extraordinary organizations like Castle of Our Skins, Celebrity Series of Boston, Collage New Music, New England Jazz Collaborative, New Gallery Concert Series, Palaver Strings, Boston Camerata, and Lorelei Ensemble to create evenings that are as inspiring as they are memorable.

STUDIO STAGE

Studio Stage is your chance to experience the thrill of discovery. Here, emerging artists take the stage to share their ideas, test their creativity, and invite you into their artistic journey. Each performance features Longy students presenting works in progress, a core part of their training and an expression of Longy’s academic and performance mission. These performances are alive with the energy and excitement of music in the making, and you get to be there as the next generation of musicians finds its voice.

BACK STAGE

Back Stage events invite you to step inside the creative process. You will watch and listen as artists work together, exchange ideas, and reveal the choices that shape a performance. These intimate gatherings are a rare opportunity to connect with the music and the musicians in a way that will change how you experience a concert.
