I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who came out to support me today for my final performance at Longy. Having my family and friends here, some traveling great distances, fills me with immense joy. And a special thank you to my amazing husband, who’s been my unwavering support system.
Angela Gooch, my voice teacher, has played a significant role in my journey over the past five years. I’ve learned invaluable lessons and grown tremendously under her guidance.
To all the wonderful teachers at Longy, your support and mentorship have been invaluable to me.
Peter Aldins, your arrangement of “Sweet Dancer” added a magical touch to tonight’s performance, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to sing it. Your musical genius truly inspires me as a musician!
Dr. Terry King, my cello teacher, deserves special recognition for his belief in me. From the moment I stepped into his studio, his guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping my musical journey. His patience, expertise, and passion for teaching have not only improved my cello playing but have also inspired me to strive for excellence in all aspects of my musical pursuits.
And to the dedicated crew behind the scenes, Thank you for your patience and commitment to make my recital special, I will forever be grateful!
