Join Our Team of Afterschool Music Teachers at an Arts Focused Private School!
We are currently recruiting exceptional Afterschool Music Teachers for the 2023-2024 academic year to teach private music lessons to Grades K-8 students with various skill levels.
Positions Available teaching: : Piano, Voice, Violin, Drum, and Saxophone Grade Levels: K-8 (Beginners, Advanced Beginners, and Intermediate)
Remuneration: $35 per 30-minute lesson Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:00-6:00 p.m. Flexible schedules
Responsibilities:
-Deliver private music lessons to Grades K-8 students, nurturing their musical growth
-Cultivate a joy for playing music through engaging and supportive instruction
-Set exceptionally high standards for excellence while providing caring guidance
-Develop students’ technical skills, including ear training and improvisation
-Enrich lessons with a diverse repertoire, games, and exercises to ensure student engagement
-Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in fulfilling teaching commitments
Qualifications:
-Possess a degree in music/music education
-Demonstrated experience teaching private lessons to young children
-Foster a genuine love for music while maintaining high standards of excellence
-Showcase proficiency in technical skills, such as ear training and improvisation
Important Details:
The Afterschool Music Program commences on September 18, 2023, and concludes on May 30, 2024.
Lessons will be conducted weekly, excluding holidays and school vacations
All lesson scheduling will be handled by our After School Music Program staff.
