Voyage: One, Part 2 | Ensemble Uncaged | Andy Kozar and Rachael Elliott, co-directors

Monday • March 21, 2022   |   7:30 pm

Free – $20.00

While this event is open to the public, you must pre-register in order to gain access in person. Registering for the performance is an important step to ensure the ability of contact tracing. No walk-ups will be allowed at Longy for performances.

Voyage: One, Part 2 traverses the Familiar and the Unknown, illuminating the space between us while fostering the curiosity and imagination that propels us forward.

Join Ensemble Uncaged for a journey of discovery of new and recent chamber music by composers including György Kurtág, Marjorie Merryman, Marc Mellits, Vaclav Nelhybel, Marc Sabat, and “Elegy (Separation)” by Longy faculty member John Morrison.

Ensemble Uncaged is Longy’s premiere new music group, dedicated to performing music by established composers as well as emerging and underrepresented voices, expressing multiple perspectives. We honor the familiar, invite the unknown, and challenge the conceptual limits of concert music in the 21st century.
