They are charged with thinking critically about what stories they tell, whose voices to amplify, and who’s in the room for their event while also considering how to use performance spaces in innovative ways and how to truly engage audiences and create interactive music experiences.

This graduation vocal recital will revolve around the theme of “dreams.” The repertoire will include musical numbers, opera arias, art songs, Japanese songs, and oratorio pieces. The stage will have a staircase, which symbolizes the path to the future. The recital will feature a unique and personalized structure that sets it apart from a typical concert. The singer aims to convey the message that dreams are essential and that one should always pursue them. Through the songs, the audience will be taken on a journey that reflects the singer’s personal experiences, struggles, and aspirations. The recital will be a celebration of the power of music to express emotions and evoke deeper meanings.
