For as long as music has been written and performed, composers and performers have been drawn to the elemental forces of fire and water as a source of inspiration. Musicians have always been, and will always be, crafty, innovative, and adaptable, making art with the instruments and musicians that are in the room.
Longy faculty members Andy Kozar, Eric Hofbauer, and Tony Leva are joined by Longy students in a program titled Fire & Water, which highlights these constants: music inspired by the elemental, and subsequently adapted for the musicians in this very room, the Regattabar!
Doors will open at 7:00pm. The performance will begin at 7:30pm.
