From There to Here | New Gallery Concert Series

Commissions, premieres, photography, dance. Whether literal or spiritual, whimsical or provocative, the memories of our elders or the present protest of our youth, join us for a night of artistic journey and the value of knowing how we got from there to here.
Rashon Rah-Lik Briggs, featured visual artist; composers Jessica Mays, Vanessa Lann, Forbes Graham, and Kenji Bunch with performances by Katherine Winterstein and Rose Drucker, violins; Ashleigh Gordon, viola; Francesca McNeeley, cello; Sarah Bob, piano; Freddie Hendrix, trumpet; Aaron Trant, drums; and Henning Washington, freestyle dancer performing to the words of George Floyd’s brother, Philonise.
