Experience Longy Series panelist headshots

Music has the power to unite communities, speak the unspoken, and bring comfort when words are not enough. Join us for a discussion and firsthand accounts of the healing power of music in communities that have been affected by trauma and social disconnection.

Participants include Dean Judith Bose; Rebecca Strauss, original member of Shelter Music Boston, founder and director of Harmony & Hope, Certified Music Practitioner, and Longy Music as a Healing Art faculty; and Anthony Leva, Tunefoolery community music director and Longy faculty member.

Longy is grateful to event co-sponsors Cary Memorial Library, Dunamis, Harmony & Hope, Riverview Chamber Players, Shelter Music Boston, and Tunefoolery Music.

All Experience Longy Series events are held online.
