Experience never before heard student works come to life through loadbang. loadbang is a New-York City based chamber ensemble comprised of Adrian Sandi (bass clarinet), Jeffrey Gavett (baritone voice) and Longy faculty members Andy Kozar (trumpets) and William Lang (trombone). Praised as “cultivated” by The New Yorker, “an extra-cool new music group” and “exhilarating” by the Baltimore Sun, “inventive” by the New York Times and regarded as a “formidable new-music force” by TimeOutNY, loadbang has quickly risen to the acclaimed status as one of the premiere American new music ensembles. loadbang has premiered more than 400 works to date. loadbang will perform premieres by Divergent Studio composition students Eric Saroian, Leah Mullen, Kira Namiko Wales, Julio Elvin Quiñones, Stephen Jackson, Joel Kirk, Alexander Matheson, Kylan Hillman, Ryan Garvey.
