Join Collage New Music on Saturday, October 5, 2024, for an event-filled day that brings together composers in the greater Boston region for workshops and talks. The day provides opportunities for composers to meet and share ideas with each other, and benefit from observations on their own music by guest composers Juri Seo (Princeton University) and Wang Lu (Brown University), as well as Longy composition faculty Alexandra du Bois (Chair of Composition and Theory).
Registered participants may submit a recent work to be considered for workshop/critique sessions with Juri Seo, Wang Lu and Alexandra du Bois. From the applications, several composers’ works will be chosen for discussion. All registered participants will receive admission to the CCC, pizza lunch, and a ticket for the following day’s pre-concert talk and season-opening concert. While registration for the CCC will remain open on a rolling basis, entries must be submitted by September 20, 2024, to be considered for the masterclass.
