ASA Speaker Series | Anita Lee

Wednesday • March 31, 2021   |   12:00 pm

Join violinist, language specialist, and international educator Anita Lee on Wednesday, March 31 at noon!

As a certified music and English teacher, Lee has taught in Canada, China, and Japan. Her education research focuses on providing underserved children with sustainable access to music learning and performance opportunities. Based on this vision, she founded Music Go Global and co-founded the CAIS Instrumental Program. Lee was also part of Yo-Yo Ma’s Silkroad Project where she worked towards developing the Arts and Passion-Driven Learning Project for arts educators in the Greater Boston area.

Anita will help the audience think about their self-identity as musicians, learn about career opportunities as music graduates, and get ready for future career preparation while studying at school. She will share her education, career journey, and experience on how she balances her life both as a performer and as an educator on an international scale.
