RECITAL ROOM/EVENT SPACE: WOLFINSOHN & ROOM N1
Wolfinsohn Recital Room is located in the Zabriskie House at 27 Garden Street in Cambridge. Seating capacity is 30.
Recital Room N1 is located in the Rey-Waldstein Building at 33 Garden Street in Cambridge. Seating capacity is 60.

*Longy Affiliates are current faculty and staff members, current students and alumni of Longy’s Conservatory. To qualify for the Longy Affiliate Rental Rate, your event must meet all the following criteria:
- the performing organization’s principal contact must be a Longy Affiliate
- 50% of the ensemble must be made up of Longy Affiliates
- Longy Affiliates must be featured on 50% of the program
Please note that, due to record student enrollment, rental availability at Longy is extremely limited.If you submit a date request and do not hear from us within two weeks, you can assume that the time you requested is not available. |
Longy offers three performance spaces for rent:
Edward M. Pickman Concert Hall, capacity 270
Wolfinsohn Recital Room, capacity 30
Recital Room N1, capacity 60
If you are interested in renting one of Longy’s performance spaces please complete the Date Request Form.
After receiving your Date Request form, the concert office will review your request and determine feasibility (subject to availability), and we may be in contact with you to gather more details about your event. If the rental is possible, a contract will be emailed to you. In order to confirm your reservation, the required paperwork and payment must be returned by the deadlines outlined in your contract.
What publicity services does Longy offer to renters?
For an additional fee of $100, Longy offers Pickman Hall rental clients a listing of concert information on our website. If you would like your event to be listed on Longy’s website please complete one of the forms above. Details are included in the rental packet that is delivered to all rental clients. Publicity services are subject to deadlines and the approval of the Communications Department.
Any event publicity materials the lessee may wish to post on the Longy School of Music of Bard College property must be presented to the Communications Department. The Concert Office will post approved materials, space permitting, on the designated bulletin boards.
Photographs and video images of the Longy School of Music of Bard College property may not be used or published without the express written permission of the Communications Department. Renters shall not involve the name “Longy School of Music of Bard College,” any member of its staff, or its telephone numbers for any reason, other than to convey the location of the event, without the written permission of the Communications Department.
Does Longy offer box office or ticketing services to renters?
Longy School of Music of Bard College does not provide box office staffing or ticketing services to our renters. Ticket sales are exclusively the responsibility of our renters and may take place on Longy School of Music of Bard College property only during the rental period on the day of the event. We will be happy to include ticket information in your concert listing on our website.
Is there parking available to Longy renters?
Unfortunately, on-site parking is not available to Longy’s renters. An information sheet is included within the rental paperwork for directions and alternative parking solutions, including Longy’s validation agreement with the University Place garage in Harvard Square. Any vehicle found in violation of these parking regulations will be subject to ticketing and/or towing.
