Hildegard von Bingen: A Universe Bound by Music | Pamela Dellal, faculty artist/artistic director

Friday • December 13, 2019   |   7:30 pm

Members of the Longy Historical Performance and Vocal Studies Departments present an immersive exploration of the powerful music of Hildegard von Bingen in the intimate and acoustically dazzling Lindsay Chapel. Hildegard’s profound vision of the role of the feminine in the divine plan—and the cosmic unity of her worldview—will illuminate the four elements through the distinct characters of eight medieval musical modes.
