UPDATE ON COVID-19 RESPONSE

Concert Hall Policies:
Longy concert and event attendees are expected to comply with all safety policies and procedures. These include:

  • All events will be streamed.
  • Only Longy community members will be allowed to view events in-person.
  • Everyone must wear masks at all times.
    Specific exceptions and guidelines for brass, wind, and vocal performers.

We will reevaluate this policy on 1/24 to determine if changes are needed.

Vaccine Booster Shots, Masks, and Distancing:

To ensure a safe return to in-person classes:

  • All faculty, students and staff are required to have a COVID-19 booster shot by February 7, 2022.
  • You may only remove your mask if you are alone in a room.
    Specific exceptions and guidelines for brass, wind, and vocal performers.

For Students For Employees

Positive COVID-19 Test, Close Contact, and Symptoms:

  • Isolate for a minimum of 5 days after symptoms begin or after a positive COVID test.
    Consult guidelines for testing and returning afterward.
  • You must wear a mask around others for 10 days and get tested 5 days after close contact.
  • As always, if you develop symptoms do not come to school and get tested.
