Baritone/bass section leader for 2021-2022 season

Hancock Church, and open and affirming, immigrant welcoming church in the United Church of Christ is seeking a baritone or bass section leader for our 2021-2022 season. 25 Voice choir that rehearses on Thursday nights an sings each Sunday morning. Wide ranging, quality repertoire from the renaissance to contemporary with two major works per year with orchestra. Past major works include the Lauridsen Lux Aeterna, Charpentier Te Deum, Barnett’s The World Beloved, Brahms Requiem and more. Seeking singer with good sight reading skills and ear. Solo opportunities both with orchestra and piano/organ. Upcoming singers welcome to apply. Good pay, must have own transportation as the T does not run when needed to Lexington. Friendly, welcoming group open to all regardless of race, faith, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
