Longy School of Music of Bard College is proud to present The Multifaceted Career Speaker Series which broadens personal narratives around success and inspires us to create our own diverse and multifaceted careers. Join the conversation with a musician who defines their vision of success and forges their own paths along the way. Explore the different ways these artists have connected their various passions to build their own careers. This series is offered as part of Longy’s Career Coaching Program. All speaking events are free and open to the public.

Longy students are welcome to join in person or via Zoom. Members of the public are encourage to participate via Zoom.

Claudia García is a dynamic and multi-passionate creative professional. Her journey seamlessly intertwines interests in music, illustration, and project management, resulting in a diverse and accomplished skill set.

With an innovative approach, Claudia has explored technology to craft experiences that push beyond conventional boundaries such as creating illustrations and animations for a full-dome format in a planetarium, inspired by works of Debussy (Images) and Ravel (Miroirs). Claudia’s ability to blend different mediums reflects her commitment to breaking barriers and merging creativity with technology. This results in artistic experiences that transcend tradition.

Recently, Claudia has embraced the realm of digital content creation, allowing her to undertake interdisciplinary projects that fuse her diverse skills. This new direction empowers her to create transformative experiences and explore endless possibilities in her work.

Claudia holds a Master’s Degree from Longy School of Music.
