Alegría y dolor: Spanish Songs of joy and pain. Experience the fire of passion through Spanish rhythms and the intense pain of lost love through heart wrenching vocal lines. Come discover the Spanish songs of Iradier, Caballero, Granados, De Falla, Turina, Obradors, and many more. Sunday, December 12th at 3:00 p.m. in N-1 in the Ray-Waldstein building at Longy School of Music of Bard College. This concert will raise money for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Founded in 1975, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) empowers students and parents with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete a higher education, while providing support services and scholarships to as many exceptional students, Scholars, and Alumni as possible. HSF strives to make college education a top priority for every family across the nation.
