Longy’s performance are free and open to the public, but please register in advance.
This marathon will comprise three concert segments:
Concert 1 at 4:00pm
Concert 2 at 6:00pm
Concert 3 at 8:00pm
What better way is there to celebrate live music than with the composers and performers in your own community? Please join us in Pickman Hall for Longy’s New Music Marathon – music in any style created after 1965 – featuring the works and performances of Longy students, faculty, and alumni.
This year’s featured work is Dr. Matthew Evan Taylor’s ensemble piece breathe (2022) which will be performed on the 6:00pm concert.
