formerly known as GROOVE AND GRIT

It’s personal: how we see the world and beyond it, how we relate and carry on. How do we connect, celebrate, see each other at a deeper level? Lifetimes of groove and grit, sinking in and transcending above.

Featuring words and music by DANIEL CALLAHAN, bass clarinetist RANE MOORE, pianist SARAH BOB, singer and cuatro player FABIOLA MÉNDEZ, percussionist and composer AARON TRANT, and TWO NewGal world premiere commissions by saxophonist JONATHAN SUAZO for sax and cuatro and KEVIN MADISON for rapper, bass clarinet, and piano.

The virtual concert will last 50 minutes with a Zoom interactive reception to follow.
