note from the artist

The title of my recital “Crystalline Dreamscapes” was inspired by the refraction of light through crystals, which result in the production and variety of different colors. To me, each individual and unique combination of color can hold different and special meaning while also evoking a variety of emotions and feelings. To show this, I’ve specifically chosen colors and stage lightings and paired them with each piece on my program. As the color spectrum is incredibly diverse, the program I’m performing is a reflection of this – presenting a diverse range of music from the early 18th century all the way to the 21st century while staying true to my artistic vision: sharing music that I love from a variety of different styles and background with my audience, inspiring and connecting with their hearts at a deep level where words alone cannot express.

The great pianist, composer and teacher Frederic Chopin once said: “I shall create a world for myself.”
And so, I invite you to join and enjoy the colorful dreamscape world I have created.
