Voyage: One | Ensemble Uncaged | Andy Kozar and Rachael Elliott, co-directors

Monday, March 21   |   7:30 pm

Free – $20.00

Voyage: One traverses the Familiar and the Unknown, illuminating the space between us while fostering the curiosity and imagination that propels us forward.

Join Ensemble Uncaged for a journey of discovery of new and recent chamber music by Marti Epstein, Morton Feldman, Finnur Karlsson, György Kurtág, Marc Mellits, Alex Temple, and Longy faculty member John Morrison. Also featured are the World Premieres of two new works by Longy graduate students, Paige Burke and Xiaoxi Zhang.

Ensemble Uncaged is Longy’s premiere new music group, dedicated to performing music by established composers as well as emerging and underrepresented voices, expressing multiple perspectives. We honor the familiar, invite the unknown, and challenge the conceptual limits of concert music in the 21st century.
