Directed by trumpeter and conductor Andy Kozar, Divergent Studio has brought together hundreds of young performers and composers and welcomed many of the world’s most influential living composers as guest faculty including Pulitzer Prize winner Raven Chacon, Eve Beglarian, Angélica Negrón, Christian Wolff, Han Lash, Sebastian Currier, and Mark Applebaum, and in this year’s session will host Lei Liang, Alex Mincek, and Niloufar Nourbakhsh. These 10 days of Divergent Studio will consist of over 10 concerts, by the faculty and student performers alike and often side-by-side. All concerts are open to the public.
