To compose means to put together. Let’s listen to what composers and performers have been putting together—together—without boundaries.

Custom Commission is just that: learning about the musicians you are writing for by listening to them practice, asking questions, and sharing stories—before any new piece is written. And performers in return give inspiration to composers.

Longy’s Custom Commission Showcase features short, dynamic, espresso-infused moments of inspiration for the entire Longy community featuring inspiration from around the world.
