Longy’s Vox Exchange Ensemble joins Lorelei Ensemble‘s Grammy-nominated conductor Beth Willer and sopranos Corrine Byrne and Sonja Dutoit Tengblad for presentation of groundbreaking music for women’s voices. Works by David Lang, Jessica Meyer, Caroline Shaw and Luigi Rossi ask us, how much emotional pain is truly worth it as we navigate the connections between love and loss, while music by Peter Gilbert and Scott Ordway lead us to the edge of our understanding of the natural world.
