Jiaying (Janice) Tian is a student of Jessica Osborne.
This program brings together works that reflect different states of mind rather than a single storyline. This recital marks a moment of transition, embracing a sense of renewal and new beginnings.
Janice Tian is a pianist currently pursuing graduate studies in piano performance at the Longy School of Music of Bard College. She received her Bachelor of Music from Ohio Wesleyan University.
Janice has performed a wide range of repertoire, with a particular interest in works that explore contrast in character and expression. She will continue her studies at West Virginia University, where she has been admitted to the Doctor of Musical Arts program.
