JCM: Modern Standards Ensemble

Modern Standards Ensemble, led by Peter Cassino, focuses on repertoire from notable composers throughout the jazz tradition including; Wayne Shorter, George Garzone, Mulgrew Miller, et al. In addition to playing these kinds of important compositions, the band all plays original works written by students in the ensemble.
