Arlington Street Church (Unitarian Universalist) in downtown Boston is seeking a Bass Section Leader with excellent musicianship and sightsinging abilities. Section Leaders sing with our choir every week, and have regular opportunities for solo performances. Depending on experience, section leaders may also conduct the choir or lead rehearsals.
Pay is usually $180/week ($90/call), plus free use of the facilities for recitals, rehearsals, and teaching. Thursday night rehearsals 7-9pm and Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30 rehearsal, 11:00-12:15 service.
This is a fabulous social justice – centered community. Pro LGBTQ+ (first church in the country where two people of the same sex were married). And the music program is vibrant and eclectic!
The position will begin in September of 2025.
