Longy School of Music presents Massenet’s Cendrillon at Arrow Street Arts! 

Don’t miss the chance to see a fresh take on the beloved fairy tale Cendrillon, brought to life by Longy students in a new production directed by Nicholas Tocci. This modern reinterpretation of Massenet’s classic opera will be performed on Wednesday, December 18th and Thursday, December 19th at Arrow Street Arts (@arrowstreetarts). 

In this imaginative retelling, Cendrillon is a young, intelligent, and beautiful woman navigating the challenges of a media-driven world and her dysfunctional relationship with her stepfamily. With the magical help of her favorite video game character—her Fairy Godmother—Cendrillon finds the courage to rise above her situation. A dash of modern whimsy, a pinch of magic, and a charming love story all come together for a heartwarming performance where the heroine finds her perfect match and lives happily ever after. 

Come experience the magic of Cendrillon in a performance that is sure to delight audiences of all ages!
