Welcome to the “It’s Personal” Music Festival, where every note tells a story, and each performance is a window into the soul of its creator.
On Friday, May 10th, 2024, from 2pm to 5pm, the Longy community will gather for a day of musical exploration, diving into the stories of our students. The “It’s Personal” Festival is more than just a showcase of musical talent; it’s a platform for empowerment, a call to arms for individuals to embrace the power of their own stories.

This one-day festival delves deep into the heart of storytelling through music. From soul-stirring solos to harmonious ensembles, from thought-provoking compositions to collaborative projects, each piece presented carries the essence of personal narrative, inviting both performers and audience alike to embark on a journey of introspection and connection.

We will be featuring groups formed at Longy, including Gaia Quartet and Jasmine 4tet, each bringing their unique blend of artistry and storytelling to captivate and inspire.
