Thursday • April 18, 2019 | 7:30 pm
Free – $20Paride ed Elena, the third and least performed of Christoph Willibald Gluck’s reform operas for Vienna, co-mingles the Gods of Greek mythology and their human subjects into a tale which stirs up the affairs of Paride, Prince of Troy with Elena, Queen of Sparta. Judgement is the duality; deciding the most beautiful face as well as setting the stage leading up to the Trojan war. The actions of Paride will determine his fate and ultimately the fate of Troy.
