Longy Contemporary Chamber Music Institute

June 11-18, 2017

Study with the world class faculty of the 2017 Longy Contemporary Chamber Music Institute, including the members of loadbang, one of the country’s most active new music ensembles, and pianist Donald Berman. Participants will participate in daily coachings, student and faculty performances, and seminars on subjects including atonal and microtonal ear training, performing with electronics, complex rhythms, grant writing, and career development.

Students who need accommodations may stay in the dorms at Lesley University, which is approximately a 5 minute walk from Longy. The agreements will be made directly between the participants and Lesley University, though all of the necessary information will be given to the participants by the staff at the Longy Contemporary Chamber Music Institute.
