Beethoven may have been a misanthrope, but he had a close circle of devoted friends throughout his life. This concert will feature works dedicated by Beethoven as well as an improvised response to some of his pieces. The Horszowski Trio will also premiere Late Bloom by John Morrison which was dedicated to them by the composer.

Longy is excited to announce that the acclaimed Horszowski Trio will be Artists-in-Residence this year. The trio will offer a series of three recitals exploring Homeland and its role in Beethoven’s life.
